We should at the same time be ever joyful also because now where the Holy Martyrdom of the Royal Martyrs Tsar Nicholas II and his Family took place a Russian Orthodox Church in Ekaterinburg Russia, has been built, and as well as a monastery on the grounds of their burial. We are also discovering that many churches throughout Russia are currently being dedicated to the Royal Martyrs of Russia, as well as in America, and other countries. My Chapel in my parish house is dedicated to the Royal Martyrs of Russia. A large Russian Orthodox Cross has been as well been built on the spot where the Holy Martyrdom of SS. Elizabeth and Barbara (and those with them) that took place in Alapaevsk, Russia. Many Russian Orthodox churches as well are currently being built throughout Russia, and in America in memory of St. Elizabeth the New Martyr of Russia. The Convent of SS. Martha and Mary where the Grand Duchess Elizabeth was the Abbess is currently very active today. An Orthodox Covent in America also exists today in Platina, California. It always pleases the soul that when we pray to the saints and the martyrs of our Holy Orthodox Church, we in the end find many great spiritual rewards and blessings. Let us all continue to cry out in prayer to the Royal Martyrs of Russia, and as well as to the New Martyrs of Russia for the sake of our salvation. We now have translations in English for both the Akathist and a Canon to the Tsar Martyr Nicholas II, as well as an Akathist and Canon to Ss. Elizabeth and Barbara. You can find these services on my web site dedicated to the Royal Martyrs of Russia under Prayers Not only on the occasion of the 86th Commemoration of the Holy Martyrdom of the Royal Martyrs of Russia (and those with them) should we remember in prayer, but also at any other time we can include in our circle of prayers these Akathist and Canons. May all these loving martyrs pray for us all, who truly loved one another, Russia, and us all! Holy Royal Martyrs Tsar Nicholas II & Family, Pray Unto God For Us! Holy Saints Elizabeth & Barbara Glory Be To God For All Things! |
